POINTBLANK, Game Shooter Online Terbaru Yang Lagi Happening!!

My best friend Rocky Nata beberapa waktu lalu mengenalkan saya pada game online terbaru yang menurutnya sangat-sangat 'keren'. Nama game itu adalah 'Point Blank'. Langsung saja saya meminta copy CD-nya dan mencobanya di rumah. Kesan pertama saya sih... pusing!! Saya memang kurang suka jenis game shooter kaya gini, tapi karena 'katanya' game ini lagi nge-trend, mau gak mau saya harus nyobain, biar gak keliatan bego kalo ditanya ama temen2 sesama gamers.

Secara gameplay, 'Pointblank' ini mirip sekali dengan 'Counter Strike'. Intinya sih kita jadi tentara yang memerangi teroris, atau bisa juga kita jadi teroris-nya. dengan beberapa pilihan misi seperti 'perang habis-habisan' atau 'menjinakkan bom', seingat saya juga ada di jaman Counter Strike dulu. Secara grafis, yaahh.. okelah memang beberapa area peperangan terlihat lebih real dan detail. Pilihan senjata memang agak terbatas, karena dalam game ini, kita harus menang atau menyelesaikan suatu misi dulu untuk mengumpulkan poin, dan poin-poin inilah yang nantinya kita gunakan untuk membeli senjata-senjata yang canggih.

Yang kurang saya sukai di game ini adalah adanya sistem pangkat. Dimana semakin kita sering menang maka pangkat kita akan semakin naik. Mulai dari sersan, letnan, kapten, mayor dan seterusnya. Dan kalo kita masuk 'room' yang berisi musuh dengan pangkat tinggi, maka semakin susah kita meraih kemenangan. Masalahnya, pangkat ini bisa dibeli dengan uang cash, sehingga kalo kita punya uang, gak perlu repot2 perang, tinggal beli aja, memang harganya agak mahal sih, tapi kayanya beberapa gamers tidak keberatan dengan 'harganya'. Belum lagi banyak pemain yang memakai 'cheat' sehingga permainan jadi 'tidak normal'. Ada pemain yang bisa nembak nembus tembok, bisa terbang, ammo-nya tidak terbatas, bahkan susah banget buat dibunuh, seolah-olah kebal gitu. Males banget khan?

Secara overall, game ini cukup menarik. Tapi memang butuh koneksi yang bagus, karena waktu saya tes pake modem USB andalan saya, koneksinya sering putus, dan kita harus login lagi dari awal. Hal yang cukup menjengkelkan. So, kalo lo emang gamer, perlu banget nyoba game ini, yaah, buat sekedar nyoba aja. Kalo lo suka, ya lo terusin, kalo enggak, ya gak papa. Masih banyak game lain yang bisa dimainin. Ya gak sih? Seperti Saat ini saya lagi maenin 'Need For Speed - Underground 2'. Memang gak lagi nge-trend sih, tapi khan tujuan kita maen game buat refreshing and yang penting kita enjoy.. thats it. Nothing else matters..!! GO GAMERS..!!

Final fantasy VIII is the first RPG game i played on my Playstation Console. This game is credited as 'the best RPG game' in 2001. This next chapter in Final Fantasy takes the series to the next level. Final Fantasy VIII combines an epic storyline with dynamic role-playing elements, breathtaking music, and well-defined characters. This game is a big hit.

The story, being one of its best parts, is one of the biggest reasons to play this game. The story is about an adventure of Squall Lionheart, a student in a millitary college called Balamb Garden. The game's story also features many cool characters that players can feel the personality of and relate to. Whether it be Squall's silence or Rinoa's smiles, Zell's ambitious attitude or the cheery attitude of Selphie, or even Seifer's stuck up attitude mixed with his rivalry with Squall, these types of things all will be not only observed, but felt within the fans as they play this game. This game's story features friendships, rivalries with enemies, war, and love.

The gameplay still features the standard FF random battle idea, but the different in the battle system is FF VIII uses the "junction" system. The characters link themselves to their summons and magics and that is what their abilities become. You get summons at the start of the game. Your summons are called "Guardian Forces or GF" and work on a charge meter and a separate life bar. Summoning these GF is very cool. I enjoyed fighting with this summons. Those Guardian Forces are awesome. The graphics are pretty well done. This time the characters aren't miniature. I think the FMVs are great. How fast or short can you finish this game? Without going for the extras you can probably average about a 50 hour game completion going through the game. But You'll enjoy 70 hour with no regret anyway, believe me on this one.

This story is one of the strongest points of the game, next being the interactive scenes and the gameplay. The world of Final Fantasy VIII comes to life in a dazzling display of digital artistry that spans 4 CDs. With the addition of an hour worth of CG animation, a new "Junction" system, and compatibility with the Dual Shock Analog Controller, Final Fantasy VIII is a breathtaking addition to the FF series. Any RPG fan will definitely enjoy this game.
